I literally have 90% of the IAP for Launchpad Blocs and Groove apps.īesides the Launchpad app and basic keyboard input of midi notes on Groove, I really can use my Novation gear with these apps for much. Blocs Wave will have you making music in minutes. Is more MIDI Control of the BLOC WAVE and GROOVE app in the cards? Is it? Or, what other changes are expected. IF NEITHER, then what is the goal of the Blocs Wave and Groove app as individual entities? I thought the EQ on Blocs was a precursor to AU effects also. So, I am miffed at the lack of MIDI integration THUS FAR with BLOCS and GROOVE.Īre all these Novation Amplify apps really "live betas" that are components of a forthcoming master Novation-Ampify iOS "Ableton" type app? That was the ideal performance or practice set up. Also, it allowed the user to seamlessly work with Launchpad app and Launchkey app with nothing else except a keyboard and not other apps. If you use nothing sound packs though it might be a bit difficult. Blocs Wave and Launchpad are a matchmade in heaven. Blocs Export adds new dimension to Blocs with Launchpad capability. The new Blocs Export feature lets you create music using the Blocs Wave app and export it to Launchpad for iOS, allowing you to make your own custom soundpacks for remixing on the fly. Don’t think Groovebox does, but Blocs Wave can record free length loops, like manual looper style of any length, so shouldn’t be a problem there. Launchpad for iOS and Blocs Wave have been given a major update that allow the two apps to work together seamlessly as part of a mobile music-making ecosystem. Blocs Export allows you to create soundpacks for the Launchpad app.
